Purpose:
The Metro Council Districts Map allows users locate Council Districts and Council Members.

How to Use the Map:
In the right-hand column, hover over a Council Member's name and his/her district will be highlighted on the map. Click and the application will zoom to that Council District and provide information on the Council Member in the drop-down window.

In the toolbar at the top of the page, enter an address in the textbox to determine Metro Council District information for that location.

At the far left, click the "Home" button to return to the map's original extent; click the "Eye" button to toggle transparency on the map.

Window Dimensions:
The Metro Council Districts Map was developed for a window width of at least 950px.

Web Content Filtering:
The Metro Council Districts Map is built on a framework hosted by Esri. In order for it to function correctly, the browser must have access to http://js.arcgis.com. If necessary, request that a System Administrator set the mentioned URL as allowed within the web content filtering system.

Metro Council Districts Map is a Javascript based application built on:

• the Dojo toolkit
• ESRI's API for Javascript

All data provided by LOJIC and exposed as ArcGIS Services.
